Endosym armor vs bleeding edge2/27/2023 Essentially skipping generations or more of ones that have a very specific function in its design like an submersiblesuit and hulkbuster for examples. I personally have always enjoyed the more drastic looking varied armors. And the whole first glance is basically what I mean. Only until you see it more closely do you notice the differences. The designs in the movies have felt similar when you just look at it in a flash. I think really my statement was more my opinion on how I like armors that are very different looking than some that have a very similar look. I guess thats kind of just like how it is with MCU IM. but half the time i never notice the differences between movies. Ive always enjoyed the war machine MCU armor. I love the very different variations in the comics and the mcu versions seem to get very very little changes/alterations. The War Machines MK II and MK III looked like buff Iron Men for the most part, so I was really happy with the WM MK Iv and its more aircraft-oriented aesthetic. In the case of War Machine, I like it that with MK II they tried to differentiate it from Iron Man's armor, and Rhodey's suit now has its own base helmet design. For a moment it looked like Tony had poured all the gold plating he had in the MK 42 and was saving up in all MKs ever since. While I'm not the biggest fan of the overall aesthetic of the movie Bleeding Edge Armor, at least it's distinctly different than the previous suits, and based on leaks, there could be a newer version that will get the type of gold details the Golden Avengers has been missing for a long time. Yeah, while comic Iron Man can get crazy armor variations, MCU Iron Man can't even get, for instance, a helmet desing too different from the base design used since 2008. Despite being referred to as the Godkiller Armor, this suit has no relation to the original Godkiller Armor, a gigantic suit built by the Aspirants.Oh, okay.It was called the Godkiller Armor in issue #11 and in Iron Man 2020 (Vol. It was originally presented in Tony Stark: Iron Man #10 as the Godbuster Armor, and it was referred to as such in issue #19. This suit has alternated between the nicknames Godbuster Armor and Godkiller Armor. This armor's design is partially inspired by the Iron Man 2020 Armor of Earth-8410.The numerical designation provided in this article for this suit is tentative, based on the last officially numbered armor ( Model 52) and the chronological appearance of this suit.Tony Stark's brother Arno Stark deemed it as Tony's masterpiece and described the armor as the "ultimate weapon." When Ironheart scanned Iron Man, his power readings were off the scale, and the armor radiated much more power than anything she had ever seen.Īside from that, the armor gave Iron Man enhanced strength, and allowed him to fly and release powerful repulsor barrages capable of knocking down gigantic foes. Little is known of the Godbuster Armor's full capabilities. After Arno deposed Tony from Stark Unlimited and merged it with Baintronics, he poured the resources of both companies into trying to recreate the Godbuster Armor, with the resulting suit become Arno's own Iron Man Armor. Afterwards, Tony piloted the suit back into the Baintronics factory and had it self-destruct, taking the resources used to build it with it, since he determined the armor was too powerful to remain in the real world.Īt the request of Tony's adoptive brother and Baintronics' co-leader Arno, the company's technicians managed to recover fragments of data on the Godbuster Armor from the destroyed facility. Once finished, Iron Man used the Godbuster Armor to effortlessly stop the villain and knock him out. After coming back from the eScape, Tony hijacked the bleeding edge 3D printers in possession of Baintronics to construct the Godbuster Armor in real life, with the limitations of his human body already causing the intricacies of the design to fade from his memory. Ĭoncurrently with the tribulations caused by Motherboard, the Controller was leeching energy off the eScape users, gaining enormous power and becoming near-unstoppable. The eScape allowed Tony's mind to become unfettered from the restrains of the human brain, and the full power of his imagination unleashed conceived the Godbuster Armor, a powerful suit which allowed him to destroy Motherboard. When Tony was abducted by the eScape's rogue operating system Motherboard, he eventually broke free from her influence and rebelled against her. The Godbuster Armor originated within the eScape, a virtual reality developed by Tony Stark.
